  • Peninsula Service Unit Badge Workshop

    Peninsula SU First Aid Badge

    First Aid – for All Levels! 

    Come learn basic first aid for your badge levels from Daisy to Cadette! 

    Peninsula Service Unit will be meeting at Cabrillo Elementary’s outdoor eating space once a month for badge workshops. This Friday is First Aid at all levels. Costumes welcome! 

    We will cover: 

    • Check, Call, and Care. 
    • When to call 911. 
    • Different scenarios where first aid is needed and learn what to do. 
    • What should be in a basic first aid kit. 
    • Cold and heat-related injuries 
    • Shock 
    • Outdoor related injuries 

    Hear from a Wilderness First Aid certified member of our service unit. Girls will take home a mini first aid kit. 

    Fall Product: Troop Fall Manager deadline to enter or edit in-person orders

    October 27th: Last day for online girl delivery orders and for magazine and shipped nut and chocolate orders
    November 13th: Nut and chocolate delivery day (For in-person/order card orders. Pick up location TBD
    December 2nd: Deadline for troop adjustments
    December 3rd: All funds must be deposited into the troop bank account by end of the day.

  • What the Financial?

    Join us as we take a deep dive into our financials and get those reports over with! Yep, we’re having a financials party to get it done together. More details will be coming out, but plan on spending an evening with us to get your questions answered and possibly your financial reports submitted before the deadline this year. Let’s get this party started!

  • Creak to Bay Clean-Up

    Narragansett & Chatsworth 3705 Narragansett Ave, San Diego

    We love a clean San Diego! Pick up clean-up supplies outside the Harris household. Bring your own trash pickers or tongs. Return at 5 to weigh and drop off your trash so we know how much we’ve collected! This is the final patch for our community service circle!

  • PGS Book Drive

    Narragansett & Chatsworth 3705 Narragansett Ave, San Diego

    We are thrilled to be hosting our third community event. Troops or individual girls can drop off new books at our first-ever Peninsula Girl Scouts Book Drive.

    We are able to accept gently used and new donations of childrens and adult books. Items collected will be donated to Polinsky Children’s Center and Father Joe’s Villages.
