Our January 12 Meeting will be one New Members and Long-time members will not want to miss. At 5:00 p.m. we will have a Midyear meeting of the Assembly. Learn how we governed in 2022, review the latest financial report, review how monies from the membership and the Legacy fund drives are being used. Be updated on the restoration and maintenance that the building has undergone since July 1, review our rentals, and review our philanthropy to date and lastly, be a part of the plans for the future.
This will be followed by a presentation by Carol Dedrich, CEO Girl Scouts San Diego. Girl Scouts San Diego celebrates over 100 years of empowering girls to become the leaders of tomorrow. With a focus on STEM (science technology engineering math), outdoors, entrepreneurship and life skills, Girl Scouts challenges girls to be Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-takers and Leaders with an eye on community service, social impact and making the world around them better.
Girl Scouts of the United States of America, commonly referred to as simply Girl Scouts was founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912.

GS Headquarters 1231 Upas St, San DiegoCelebrate International Women and Girls in Sports Day with Girl Scouts San Diego. Juniors and Cadettes are invited to a day of sports Saturday, Feb 11, 9 a.m.-noon! Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of sessions with support from community partners at Girl Scouts Balboa Campus and Roosevelt Middle School. Earn your Sports Day patch and your Athlete badge in your program age level by engaging in sportsmanship, physical activity, and sports skill building. This is NOT a Drop Off Event. World Thinking Day
Children’s Discovery MuseumGirl Scouts and their families are invited to celebrate an in-person World Thinking Day event with KPBS at the Children’s Discovery Museum in Escondido.  Observed by 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide, World Thinking Day has a different theme each year. This year, the theme is “Our World, Our Peaceful Future: The environment, peace, and security.” Complimentary Museum admission. Limit 4 youth tickets per order.
